Muddy day--gardening rescheduled for Saturday, June 20

Wow! All this rain is great for our plants, but not to cultivate and weed. We did get a little tilling done the other day, but today it is too wet to work again. However, we have a huge thistle problem that we will need to control, hopefully this Saturday. We will meet at about 10 a.m. We will bring hot dogs and chips for a little snack when we're done. See you there, and call if you need a ride.

UPDATE--June 13, Saturday morning. The garden is again too muddy to work. Check back to this site on Tuesday to check for our next working day.

After surveying the condition of the garden, and with the threat of rain, we decided that it is too muddy to cultivate. A lot of stuff is up, and on Saturday, June 13, we will meet at the garden at about 10:00 a.m. The ground should still be workable, and we won't need to water, so just come to pick weeds, hoe and cultivate. See you there! Call if you need a ride.
